Sumnus Anoyo

One point perspective lineart, done on bristol board (comic book paper). Two page spread of a scene, the main street of Anoyo (?). Actual image size is 15 1/2" x 20", two pieces taped together and art done to bleed line. I'll be inking this soon; all my pencil marks and notes are still there.

If you recognize my characters, it's Sanyu Mai running out and not knowing where the heck she is (she just got vizardized)

Even though Anoyo is supposed to be a dead-dead-dead place, I added birds for movement, and thought it might add some life to an otherwise dead architectural drawing. Architecture is inspired by Gothic design (no flying buttresses, deus ). In this pic I envisioned buildings built on two steep wall (abyss-like?)

Blue pencil took about six hours, black pencil took eight.
